For watch dealers · Private preview
Preview an off-chain certification record and manually shareable buyer claim link. Automated delivery, inventory and batch tools, analytics, production APIs, and permanent on-chain anchoring are roadmap items.
Application only. No paid Trade checkout or guaranteed activation.
Trade is a manually reviewed product preview. Inventory, batch certification, analytics, automated claim delivery, production API access, and on-chain anchoring are not a generally available paid bundle, and checkout is closed. Aikakone can create an off-chain provenance hash, but public Polygon minting, permanent on-chain anchoring, transfer, and independent transaction verification are not live.
The gap
A watch passes through multiple hands over its life. Paperwork gets lost. Service records live in drawers. By the time a buyer is looking at a piece in your shop, there is often no single place to check what happened before.
You inspect the watch. You know the condition. But today there is no standard way to attach that knowledge permanently to the watch itself.
What dealers tell us
“I spend 20 minutes explaining provenance to every buyer. Half of them still hesitate because there is nothing they can verify independently.”
The result
Careful dealers look the same as careless ones. Your word disappears the moment the watch changes hands again.
How it works
The current preview stores a certification record in Aikakone. It does not mint a token or create an independently verifiable permanent blockchain record.
Enter the serial number, brand, model, and condition. Hit certify. The system creates a unique fingerprint of your inspection and records it on the watch profile.
Generate a claim link. Hand over the QR code at point of sale, or email the link. The buyer opens it, signs up for free, and claims the watch into their collection.
The certification remains in the Aikakone timeline subject to the platform's retention and access controls. Polygon anchoring and permanent external verification are planned, not live.
When you are buying
Certification is one side. When a watch comes into your shop, you need to know what you are looking at. Look up the serial, check the market, and read the paper trail.
We also provide a public API for integrating stolen-watch screening into your own systems.

Preview and roadmap
Certify as many watches as you sell. Each generates a unique hash tied to your dealer identity and the watch serial.
All your certifications, pending claims, and completed transfers in one overview. Export records anytime.
Certified watches display your name on the public watch profile. Buyers see who inspected the piece.
Generate a claim link for every certified watch. Share it as a QR at point of sale, or email it. Links valid 30 days.
Look up current pricing, historical trends, and comparable sales for any reference. Know the market before you price.
Check any serial number against theft reports in the registry before you buy. Flagged watches are marked clearly.
Aikakone can create an off-chain provenance hash, but public Polygon minting, permanent on-chain anchoring, transfer, and independent transaction verification are not live.
Programmatic registration, certification, and claim-link generation are not currently available.
A future on-chain flow is intended to avoid buyer wallet setup. No chain operation runs in the current preview.

FAQ
Create a free account, then apply at aikakone.io/apply. Applications are reviewed for private-preview fit. Approval does not activate paid Trade access or guarantee a timeline.
In the preview, a dealer can create an off-chain hash and timeline record from submitted watch details. It is not minted or anchored on-chain.
The preview record is associated with the watch inside Aikakone and follows the platform retention and visibility rules. Permanent external anchoring is not live.
The preview can generate a claim link for you to copy or show as a QR code. Automated email delivery is not active, so the dealer must share the link manually.
When they open the claim link, they are prompted to create a free account. Once their email is verified, they can claim the watch immediately. No paid plan needed.
Yes. Claim links are valid for 30 days. If the buyer has not claimed within that window, you can generate a new link from your dashboard at no extra cost.
There are no live on-chain operations in the current preview. A future walletless flow is a roadmap goal.
Core public checks remain available separately. The planned Trade market-data and documentation bundle is not yet a generally available entitlement.
Yes. If the watch exists in the registry, look it up by serial number and add your dealer certification to the existing timeline.
Your certification still exists on the watch timeline. The claim link expires after 30 days. The watch remains associated with your profile until someone claims it.
Preview records and claims follow current platform controls; they are not permanent blockchain records. Confirm revocation behavior with the team before relying on it operationally.
Aikakone currently adds an off-chain, serial-associated platform record. That can improve documentation, but it is not tamper-proof, permanent, or a substitute for physical authentication.
No production batch-certification API is generally available. It remains on the Trade roadmap.
EUR 49 per month is the current roadmap target. Trade checkout is closed while the advertised bundle is completed and verified.
Email hello@aikakone.io. Preview support and participation are arranged manually; there is no generally available paid support entitlement.
