For watch dealers
Document what you certify.
Let the record speak.
When you sell a watch, your inspection is worth something. Aikakone gives it a permanent, verifiable record that stays with the watch long after it leaves your hands.
Application reviewed within 48 hours.
The gap
Watch documentation is scattered, incomplete, or missing
A watch passes through multiple hands over its life. Paperwork gets lost. Service records live in drawers. By the time a buyer is looking at a piece in your shop, there is often no single place to check what happened before.
You inspect the watch. You know the condition. But today there is no standard way to attach that knowledge permanently to the watch itself.
What dealers tell us
“I spend 20 minutes explaining provenance to every buyer. Half of them still hesitate because there is nothing they can verify independently.”
The result
Careful dealers look the same as careless ones. Your word disappears the moment the watch changes hands again.
How it works
Three steps. Sixty seconds.
The certification is tied to the watch, not the owner. It stays on the record no matter how many times the watch changes hands.
Certify the watch
Enter the serial number, brand, model, and condition. Hit certify. The system creates a unique fingerprint of your inspection and records it on the watch profile.
Share with your buyer
Generate a claim link. Hand over the QR code at point of sale, or email the link. The buyer opens it, signs up for free, and claims the watch into their collection.
The record is permanent
Your certification stays attached to the watch forever. Any future owner can look up the serial number and see that you inspected it, when, and what you found.
When you are buying
Check the watch before you buy it
Certification is one side. When a watch comes into your shop, you need to know what you are looking at. Look up the serial, check the market, and read the paper trail.
We also provide a public API for integrating stolen watch verification into your own systems.

Common questions
Create a free account, then apply at aikakone.io/apply. We ask for your business name, location, website, and estimated monthly volume. Approval typically takes 1 to 3 business days. After approval, activate the Trade plan to start certifying.
Enter the watch details (serial, brand, model, condition), hit certify, and the system creates a unique hash of your inspection. That hash is recorded on the watch profile and anchored on-chain. The whole process takes under a minute.
To the watch. Your certification stays attached to the serial number permanently, regardless of who owns the watch. Future owners can always see that you inspected and certified the piece.
After certification, generate a claim link from the dashboard. Share it as a QR code at point of sale or email it. The buyer opens the link, logs in or creates a free account, and claims the watch into their collection.
When they open the claim link, they are prompted to create a free account. Once their email is verified, they can claim the watch immediately. No paid plan needed.
Yes. Claim links are valid for 30 days. If the buyer has not claimed within that window, you can generate a new link from your dashboard at no extra cost.
No. All on-chain operations happen behind the scenes. Your buyer only needs an email address.
Yes. The Trade plan includes market data access, stolen flag checks, and documentation history lookups. You can check any serial number in the registry before you commit to a purchase.
Yes. If the watch exists in the registry, look it up by serial number and add your dealer certification to the existing timeline.
Your certification still exists on the watch timeline. The claim link expires after 30 days. The watch remains associated with your profile until someone claims it.
You can revoke before a buyer has claimed the watch. Once claimed, the certification is permanent. Revocations are recorded on the timeline for transparency.
A paper certificate can be lost, copied, or separated from the watch. An Aikakone certification is tied to the serial number, hashed, and anchored on-chain. It cannot be forged, lost, or attached to a different watch.
Yes. The Trade plan includes API access. You can register, certify, and generate claim links programmatically. Reach out to hello@aikakone.io for documentation.
